The Isuzu NHR was sold to Cebu-based fleet distributor provider Ever Consumer Sales, Inc., and will be used to deliver various consumer products in the island of Cebu.
“Since 1999, IPC has manufactured 36,378 N-Series trucks. We are very proud that the 250,000th unit we have sold is an Isuzu NHR as it currently is our best-selling light truck model,” said Yasuhiko Oyama, vice-president for sales at IPC.

Accent leads Hyundai August sales
DELIVERIES of Hyundai cars and commercial vehicles reached 3,273 units in August, a 17% increase from the brand’s result in the same month in 2016.
Philippine distributor Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) said the August result put the company’s 2017 eight-month tally to 24,233 units, 9% more than that logged for the comparable period last year. The company attributed the growth to its “full model lineup and developments in product availability.”
HARI said sales of its passengers accounted for “nearly two-thirds” of its volume in August, but with year-to-date figures nearly flat at 2%. Leading the segment was the Hyundai Accent, which comprised 1,383 units of the 2,122-unit tally of passenger cars. Sales of Hyundai’s light commercial vehicles, meanwhile, spiked 62%, or 1,151 units, in August.
