Adidas, Quiccs in another shirt design collaboration

BUILDING on their successful previous collaboration, Adidas Philippines and renowned toy designer and visual artist Quiccs have gotten together once again for new shirt designs for the summer.

The Quiccs Summer Pack is in line with both parties’ shared mission of showcasing products made in Manila and made for the world.

In his latest collaboration with adidas, Mr. Quiccs infuses his love for Japanese robots and hip-hop culture. His passion for basketball is also prominent.

“For this year, our campaign is with the basketball category. We just adjusted and animated TEQ63 to the sport, which I am also a huge fan of. Filipinos are huge enthusiasts of basketball, so this is truly enjoyable for me,” Mr. Quiccs said in a statement, making reference as well to his best-selling character TEQ63.

The pack comes in two main designs which have TEQ63 sporting Adidas apparel and footwear. It is available in black and white for P1,500.

Given the opportunity to work with a brand like Adidas anew, Mr. Quiccs expressed his excitement and said it has inspired him more to create new designs.

“Just the partnership is a dream come true. I will always be taking this chance of a lifetime as an inspiration to give my best at all times to Adidas,” he said.

Mr. Quiccs’ collaboration with adidas started in 2020 with the local artist’s Superstar campaign.

For Adidas Philippines, tying up with Mr. Quiccs is an affirmation of its commitment of not only inspiring athletes but also encouraging individuals to cultivate their passion and be proud of their roots.

“At Adidas Philippines, we are always aiming to inspire not just the next generations of athletes, but also up-and-coming local artists. We want to keep coming up with designs that not only drive purpose and positive change, but encourage individuals to be proud of their roots,” said Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Activation Manager.

“And with his love for basketball and passion for art, this makes Mr. Quiccs the perfect collaborator to see that vision come to life. We are excited to see the continuation of our long-term partnership with him, and we look forward to seeing where it will continue to take us in the future.”

The Quiccs Summer Pack tees were launched on May 1 and are now available in select adidas stores, adidas.com.ph, and the Adidas Viber store. For more information, follow Adidas Philippines on Facebook and Instagram. — Michael Angelo S. Murillo
