JEWELRY DESIGNER Wynn Wynn Ong presents her limited edition line called The Ifugao Collection. The collection features 24 Karat gold plated pieces and hand-carved wooden cultural symbols made by the Iffanawor Ifugao People near the Banawe Rice Terraces in the Cordillera Mountain. The collection is on sale at the Great women Showroom & Café at the Tesoros Bldg., 1016 Arnaiz Ave. (formerly Pasay Rd.), Makati City.
Month-long sale
THE Robinsons Malls Red Hot Sale is here: from Aug. 1 to 31 the malls’ stores will be offering super discounted prices for apparel, accessories, footwear, sporting goods, houseware and a whole lot more. To complete the shopping experience, there will be a series of shows and concerts starting on Aug. 5 when the cast from teleserye The Better Half visits Robinsons Place Antipolo. Other celebrities dropping by the malls this month include the cast of Wildflower, The Voice Kids alumni, actors Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Alexa Ilacad, and Darren Espanto, the Harana Boys, singer Vina Morales, and boy band The Juans. Airbrush seminar
AN intensive master certificate course on Airbrush Makeup Techniques for Screen and Media will be held at the School for Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE) at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB). The workshop, which is being offered in partnership with Sprint Asia Beauty, a specialist in makeup artistry, as high-definition and airbrush makeup have become popular. The seminar is scheduled for six Saturdays, beginning Aug. 19 until Sept. 23, from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Lecturers include Diana Kwong, Dina Padilla, Patricia Ting. Registration fee is P38,000, and comes with a free Temptu Pro airbrush kit. An early-bird discount will be given to those who will register two weeks before the start of the first module.
