THE PROVINCIAL Development Council (PDC) of Leyte has approved the annual investment plan (AIP) for 2018, amounting to more than P7.6 billion worth of projects and programs, including the required tagging of climate change-related expenditures for tracking. Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico L. Petilla, PDC chairman, said funds for the 2018 AIP will come from the province’s P2-billion annual internal revenue allotment, other government agencies, projected foreign assistance, and the Yolanda rehabilitation allocation. Mr. Petilla said the approved 2018 AIP, which is higher than this year’s P7.1 billion, will be submitted to the Leyte Provincial Board for approval.
