The Attic Gallery and Philarts showcase Prelude, an art exhibit featuring artists such as Roy Espinosa, Art Zamora, Rene V. Canlas, Bonnie Jimenez, Maryrose Gisbert, Oying Madrilejos, and Khristina Manansala, opening on Nov. 25, 6 p.m., at the Lobby of Edsa Shangri-La Hotel.

Lobby Lounge Luxe presents Germanophile by Randalf Dilla, on view until Nov. 27 at the Mezzanine Level of Makati Shangri-La.

ArtInformal has four ongoing exhibitions: Invisible Gardens by Yasmin Sison, Lost Highway by Mariano Ching, Untitled by Christina Quisumbing Ramilo, and a group show Interstitium by Titat Naval Ledesma, Carlos Sevilla, and Iori Espiritu. They are on view until Dec. 17.

Ateneo Art Gallery presents #LUZ@90, curated by Ambeth R. Ocampo, which runs until April 8. Featuring recent and early works, the exhibition celebrates the 90^th birth anniversary of Arturo R. Luz, National Artist for Visual Arts.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines celebrates the birth month of National Artist Carlos “Botong” Francisco via the exhibit Homebound: A Survey of Recent Developments in Angono Contemporary Art which is on view until Feb. 12.

(T)HERE, a solo exhibition by Pope Bacay is up at the Tin-aw Art Gallery until Nov. 26.

The Metropolitan Museum of Manila presents three exhibits, collectively called FORTY, in celebration of its 40^th anniversary. The MET Collection and New Acquisitions and The MET Archives are on view until Jan. 8, while The MET and the BSP Print Collections runs until Jan. 13. Along with the three exhibits, The MET is displaying Ronald Ventura’s iconic two-piece carousel at the museum lobby. Neyagawa by Renz Baluyot runs until Dec. 1 at the Underground Gallery, Makati Square, Don Chino Roces Ave., Makati City.

Pineapple Lab’s new XYZeries is a work-in-progress showing of a new collaborative work by Issa Manalo Lopez (Manila) and Siobhan V O’Loughlin (New York) entitled Colonize(d): a duet on Identity and Intersectionality.

Artery Art Space presents a two-person show titled Limbo Construct featuring the works of Bjorn Calleja and Potti Lesaguis. Artery Art Space is located at 102 P. Tuazon Blvd., Cubao, Quezon City.

Kaida Contemporary presents Arden Mopera’s recent works in Home Life, his ninth solo exhibition. Kaida Contemporary is located at 45 Scout Madriñan St., South Triangle, Quezon City.

Organized in cooperation with Art Cube, the BenCab Museum in Baguio presents DisneyTopia by Guerrero Z. Habulan, an exhibit that interrogates the acceptance of the “cultural properties” of the West. Museum visitors can also view Old Master Prints at the Print Gallery, featuring 16^th to 18^th century etchings and engravings by Rembrandt, Goya, Dürer, et al. Both exhibitions are on view until Dec. 4.

EVENTS

This year, the highly anticipated International Bazaar will be held at The Harbor Garden Tent of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, at the CCP Complex in Pasay City. Now on its 50^th year, the bazaar, whch is a yearly project of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Spouses of the Heads of Mission, will be held on Nov. 27, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be around 80 embassy and consular booths and around 30 booths handled by local purveyors. A food court will be set up behind the tent. Tickets to the bazaar cost P100.

The EB Party! (Escolta Block Party!), a series of pocket events spread throughout the day whose aim is to increase awareness of the history and heritage of the area, will be held on Nov. 26 at the Meander along Escolta, Manila. For more updates, like their event page on Facebook.

Part 3 of the Libro @ Latagan sa Cubao X, a community mega-garage sale and mini-bazaar, will be held on Nov. 19, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at entrance of Cubao X in Quezon City. There will be sellers with wares ranging from books and toys to clothes and footwear, and the majority of the items will be secondhand. Organizers advised to bring umbrellas because it will be a rain-or-shine event.
