Capstone-Intel: Nearly all Filipinos are aware of cryptocurrencies

Filipinos are becoming more aware of cryptocurrency, according to a study by research and intelligence agency Capstone-Intel Corp. The most popular crypto is Bitcoin with 93%, followed by Ethereum (54%) and Binance USD (53%). A little over half of the respondents (51%) chose to invest in cryptocurrency because of possible higher returns. On the other hand, social media (88%) was their main source of information for cryptocurrency. Majority of the respondents came from the 18- to 34-year-old age bracket.
