JUGGLING NUMEROUS activities as an actor, singer, host, and athlete is no easy task for Matteo Guidicelli. But he said that with the right pair of shoes, his hectic day not only becomes manageable, but also fashionable.
Running wear brand Saucony introduced the new Saucony Kineta Relay, a shoe that people like Mr. Guidicelli would swear by, on Dec. 16 at TGIFridays in Greenbelt 3, Makati City. According to its fans, with the Kineta Relay, it is easier for a active people to transition from one commitment to the next — even from the gym to the streets.
“Everybody thinks that Saucony is just about running shoes, but in reality, it has beautiful lifestyle shoes. It’s [considers the] active and the lifestyle. You can wear it in the office, you can wear it in the gym, you can wear it anywhere,” Mr. Guidicelli said during the launch.
The Kineta Relay is well suited to stylish athletes who intend to use it for light workouts and casual occasions. It features a breathable mesh upper and a Form2U ultra-plush memory foam footbed which delivers a comfort all day, whether one is running circuits or running around town. It also has high-abrasion EVA foam with triangular lugs that provide grip and durability.
Kineta Relay’s Life On The Run Collection is available in four different color mixes — brown/canvas, heather/gray, black/blue, and crimson/black.
This endorser puts his money where his mouth — or in this case, foot — is, not just touting the shoe, but actually using it extensively. Mr. Guidicelli said he usually wears out three to four pairs of shoes when he is training for a triathlon, but he suggested that a pair or two of Saucony shoes are enough for light runners.
“Saucony shoes varies differently in cushioning, in measurement, and in style. That’s what’s Saucony is good at — the details and the technology of their running shoes,” Mr. Guidicelli said. “It feels like you’re stepping into a very expensive bed. It molds your feet in.”
He also admitted that he had tried other brands before for his training, but got badly injured. “I felt like a grew partnership with Saucony. I don’t get injured, I do good with my runs even if I’m off season.”
Mr. Guidicelli said he also wears his Saucony shoes on TV and events guestings, which attracts people’s attention.
“I have cool shoes all the time. I’m the only one who’s wearing Saucony, and people are starting to buy it,” he said.
