Foton unveils new products, electric light-duty truck in ‘Big Show’
AS FOTON in the Philippines turns 16, the company holds the “Foton’s Big Show 2023: Commerce and Mobility Synergized.” The portfolio of the mobility solutions company will be on full display at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from Feb. 10 to 12, from 10 a.m. daily. Thirty-three units will be showcased.
At the show, Foton Philippines will unveil the Tornado 3.6 EV, the first electric light-duty truck to hit the local market; the 16-seater Traveller 2.0; and Harabas 1.9 Miler. The brand is moving to inspire and enable the next generation of entrepreneurs.
“The dawn of the new generation of trucking and new leaders in businesses is here. In the many successive years we have been holding the Big Shows, we have spurred record-high sales and ushered in top-caliber choice for entrepreneurs from large-scale to small-scale businesses,” Foton Philippines General Manager Levy Santos said.
Mr. Santos also described the company as aiming to shift Filipino businesses to a “zero-cost strategy on gas, climate consciousness, reduced daily mileage, and accessible charging opportunities.”
“We hope (this show) opens to the patrons, business owners, and other guests the choices they have in welcoming sustainability which do not have to break their backs. At Foton, our goal is to provide these options especially for our core market — logistics, construction, and the hospitality industry,” he added.
