PHOENIX Petroleum Philippines, Inc. has placed sanitation hubs at select fuel stations, offering professional car cleaning and disinfection services.
The listed independent oil retailer told the stock exchange, Tuesday, that it partnered with Autoworx Plus, a car care and maintenance chain, to put up sanitation areas in six stations.
The disinfectant installation provides a vehicle sanitation service that can also kill SARS-CoV-2, the virus which caused the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). It also offers a vacuuming service.
“The sanitation hubs we opened through the help of Autoworx Plus aim to provide additional protection to motorists against viruses, bacteria, and dirt. These services answer the need of many motorists and commuters for safe and secure travels,” Phoenix Petroleum General Manager Jay Mujar said in a statement.
The latest services are being offered at Phoenix’s stations at West Service Road, Muntinlupa City; Sucat, Parañaque City; Dahlia, Quezon City; Binangonan, Rizal; Olongapo City, and another station in Zambales.
The company has also allowed contactless payments in its fuel stations across the country to prevent the spread of the dreaded disease. It partnered with e-payments platforms Alipay, GCash, WeChat Pay, and GrabPay to introduce the scheme.
