FRANCISCO “Francis” E. Lim, a senior partner at Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law Offices (ACCRALAW), has become the new president of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) for 2020.
The former president and CEO of the Philippine Stock Exchange and Securities Clearing Corporation of the Philippines is MAP’s 71st president since it was founded in 1950.
New MAP officers for next year include Aurelio R. Montinola III, chair of Far Eastern University, as vice-president; Benedicta Du-Baladad, founding partner and CEO of Du-Baladad and Associates, as treasurer; Emmanuel P. Bonoan, Vice Chair and COO of KPMG R.G. Manabat Co., as assistant treasurer; and John Philip S. Orbeta, managing director and group head for Corporate Resources of Ayala Corporation, as Secretary.
The MAP board of governors include Danilo L. Concepcion, president of the University of the Philippines; Ms. Maria Victoria C. Españo, chair and CEO of P&A Grant Thornton; Dr. Justo A. Ortiz, chair of UnionBank of the Philippines; and Amando M. Tetangco, Jr., board director of Philippine Airlines.
