THE enterprise arm of Globe Telecom, Inc. said it is expanding its presence across the country’s three main island groups with new partnership deals with resellers.
Globe myBusiness, the telco’s arm for micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), said in a statement Friday it signed 17 separate agreements with telecom retailers.
These partners will now be accredited to resell the products and business solutions of Globe myBusiness in their respective regions.
“We would like to celebrate our partnership with these resellers which we believe is key in further reaching out to MSMEs. Together, we can… help our customers through their digital transformation,” Globe myBusiness Sales Head Cleo Santos said in the statement.
It identified seven partners in Luzon as Activ8 Enterprises, Noah Genesis, McBlues Marketing, Systemplus Computer Center, The First Plaza @ Daanghari, Oleron Computer Solutions Center and Ecotech Business Solutions, Inc.
In the Visayas, Globe myBusiness signed up six partners: Alphard Marketing Services, 2kg Cable Services, MVM Online Business Center, DCV Industrial Control Enterprises, G7 Documentation Services and Jab 8 Distribution Inc.
In Mindanao, the company signed deals with Permaheal, Abjanine Business Center Company, Dianne and Tweety Beverages Enterprises and Gwils Dry Goods Store.
Globe’s Fixed Line and Mobile Broadband business, under which the enterprise solutions usiness falls, posted revenue of P18.2 billion in the first half of the year, up 16% from a year earlier.
Its attributable net income in the six-month period grew 21% to P12.05 billion, driven by the continued growth of its data business. It is allocating P63 billion for capital expenditures this year to support the growing demand for data. — Denise A. Valdez
