Shangri-La Plaza marks Women’s Month
SHANGRI-LA PLAZA marks Women’s Month with “Her Pace. Her Space,” from March 7 to 15. Across the Grand Atrium, installations are designed for pause and reflection. At The Edit Wall, guests can write down what no longer fits in their lives, culminating in a symbolic release. The Boundary Atelier offers guided prompts that encourage participants to reconsider what to say no to — and what to protect — in their daily routines. Alongside the open lifestyle fair, a series of free pre-registered workshops and conversations offer deeper engagement. Among them is Soft Power, a three-hour, four-part workshop by Soulful Feasts facilitated by Stephanie Zubiri. The session explores embodied leadership, energy awareness, and intentional presence. It will take place on March 15, 3-6 p.m., at the Grand Atrium (register here: https: //docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSecJfZ5YXBFbbiUNsdFZJo6_eeeWLUbQ5jCL4i4yGRsQc3O5Q/viewform). Merchant partners across wellness, fashion, dining, and services support the theme through special offerings, including spa resets, fitness trials, capsule wardrobe edits, mindful dining features, and personal shopping sessions. Rustan’s Beauty Source presents GRLPWR 2026
GRLPWR returns for its 7th year with its newest chapter, “Beyond the Frame,” a month-long celebration of women, beauty, and the arts. Alongside selections from some of the world’s most coveted beauty houses, Rustan’s Beauty Source comes alive with works by Filipina artists across photography, visual art, performance, and more. From March 1 to 31 at Rustan’s Shangri-La, three Filipina creatives interpret the phrase “I Create, Therefore I Am” through photography, movement, and textile. Filipina photographer Shaira Luna exhibits Days Are Long (2015), a nostalgic series capturing her young neighbors in intimate moments of girlhood. Multidisciplinary movement artist Alison Black presents a dance film that marks her return to creating for joy rather than perfection through contemporary choreography. Artist and designer Martina Lebron unveils KUNDIMAN on silk, a wearable art piece inspired by the Filipino love song, with sampaguita motifs and a striped grid reminiscent of guitar strums. On display at the Rustan’s Makati Beauty Courtyard from March 1 to 31, painter Camille Oster Yu shows abstractions inspired by the fluid elegance of koi. Multimedia artist and architect Tara Soriano transforms the exhibition into an experiential landscape, merging light, structure, and digital expression. Interior designer and painter Rachel Le Roux centers the female form in works that explore fabric and body. From March 8 to 31, Beauty Addict members can continue the GRLPWR celebrations by earning five times the Beauty Addict points on purchases of P1,000 or more at Rustan’s Beauty Source. From March 14 to 15, members who spend a minimum of P2,500 between 2 and 6 p.m. will receive a complimentary portrait photo frame as part of the live art experience in Rustan’s Shangri-La, until supplies last. The first 50 online shoppers during this period can also enjoy P500 off with a minimum purchase of P8,000 using a special KOL artist promo code. From March 1 to April 30, Beauty Addict members can join the Beauty Addict: Chrome Collection GWP promo. With a minimum spend of P25,000 at Rustan’s Beauty Source, they will receive the sleek Umbra Wavy Jewelry Organizer. From March 1 to May 31, every P5,000 purchase at Rustan’s Beauty Source entitles Beauty Addict members to one e-raffle entry for a four-day, three-night stay for two at a five-star luxury hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, inclusive of round-trip business class flights.
