Christmas arrives early at IKEA

SEPTEMBER has arrived, and with it, the first stirrings of holiday excitement in the Philippines. Knowing Filipinos’ unique enthusiasm and love for the holidays, IKEA Philippines officially opened its Christmas Shop recently at both IKEA Pasay and online at IKEA.ph. IKEA has also permanently reduced the prices of 40 items. Its Christmas Shop is offering the same low-price designs, this time for the holidays. The focus is on two collections: Vinterfint and Stråla. “Our IKEA Christmas Shop brings together design, affordability, and sustainability in one place. Every piece is festive and joyful for the home while being kinder to the planet,” says Ricardo Pinheiro, IKEA Philippines country retail manager. “You’ll see this in our Vinterfint jolly Santa Claus figures for your tabletop, made from 100% recycled polyester, and priced from only P129. To decorate your hallways and tables, we have artificial wreaths, hanging bouquets and potted plants, also crafted from recycled polyester and combined with recycled PET and polyethylene plastic, starting at just P49. Shoppers can mix and match small accents with bigger pieces like our artificial Christmas trees.”

The Vinterfint collection has 179 designs that draw from beloved Swedish traditions but add a fresh, modern twist. The Stråla collection is composed of about 40 lighting pieces lit by energy-efficient and long-lasting LED lights. These include star-shaped lamps in Scandinavian, minimalist style, fairy lights, snow globe and gift-shaped lamps, and battery-operated candelabras. Meanwhile, IKEA’s Christmas Shop makes gift-giving effortless with everything needed to wrap presents in one place including paper wrappers with fun patterns and designs and gift bags from large to small ones for the 25 days of Advent. The IKEA Christmas Shop is now open.
