CONCRETING of the 3.8-kilometer bypass road in Lucban, Quezon has been completed and is now open to motorists, the Department of Public Works and Highways announced on Sunday. Civil works are still ongoing such as installation of street lights, drainage and sidewalks, it said. The bypass road is intended to help decongest traffic within Lucban’s town center by providing an alternate route to motorists traveling between Metro Manila and Southern Luzon up to the Bicol Region.
