DAVAO CITY — Homegrown developer Escandor Development Corp. (ESDEVCO) recently inaugurated a P250-million gym and fitness center as part of the marketing strategy for its expanded Matina Enclaves condominium project.
The Arcadia Active Lifestyle Center, located in front of the condominium complex, is open for membership to non-residents. It has an air-conditioned basketball court that can double as an events venue, a gym, restaurant, function rooms, swimming pool, and a playground.
“We always aim for excellent service, and the facility itself by positioning it as a one-stop-shop, we are giving you not just a gym but a facility of high quality,” Warren Besa, ESDEVCO Human Resources manager, said in an interview during the launch.
ESDEVCO reported sales of P2.1 billion in 2017, which is 31% higher than the combined P1.6 billion in the previous three years since the Davao-based company ventured into real estate development.
Matina Enclaves Project Director Gerald Kent Garces, in an earlier interview, said ESDEVCO has set out to build four more condominium towers with 25 floors each on a 1.7-hectare property adjacent to the existing project, which has five medium-rise buildings and single-detached houses. — Maya M.
