WATER PUMP manufacturer Grundfos Philippines has unveiled a new mobile application that provides customers with easier access to support services for its water pumps and systems.

In a digital launch on Wednesday, Grundfos Philippines introduced the SmArt Serv mobile app that will enable customers to receive immediate service on the company’s products and reduce the downtime on any water infrastructure.

With the use of the app, the customer can contact Grundfos or find the nearest service provider, provide the details of the complaint or request, include a picture of the pump or system, and forward the service request.

Nicolai Thrane, Grundfos regional service director for the Asia Pacific Region, said the mobile application provides another option for getting service support aside from the usual method of via phone and e-mail.

“The SmArt Serv app is the result of listening to our customers and through this app we will provide next-generation user experience, which is personalized, interconnected, fast, and seamless,” Mr. Thrane said.

He said the SmArt Serv app also allows the checking of the status of requests or complaints, while providing a medium to forward late responses to other service partners.

“The company takes pride in building pumps and systems of outstanding quality and we want to complement this with truly-responsive customer service,” Mr. Thrane said.

“We hope to deliver better services, achieve higher service performance and provide additional support to our customers through this app,” he added.

Some of the projects that use Grundfos water pumps include Manila Water Co., Inc.’s Cardona Treatment Plant in Rizal, Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc., and the Integrated Prefabricated Pumping Station in Palawan.

The mobile application is free and available to download on iOS and Android and can also be installed in desktop computers. — Revin Mikhael D. Ochave
