ABS-CBN Corp. and Ayala Malls opened an events venue at the latter’s Vertis North complex in Quezon City last week.
In a statement, the multimedia giant said ABS-CBN Vertis Tent will be used to host special events, live shows, and concerts, as well as private events for companies and individuals.
The tent has a seating capacity of 1,200 and a standing capacity of 2,000. It is also the first large capacity air-conditioned tent venue in the northern area of Metro Manila.
“We knew there would be a need for this type of venue for the general public, corporate events, Ayala events, and of course for ABS-CBN,” ABS-CBN business development head Luis Paolo M. Pineda said in a statement.
The media and entertainment company announced in July that it had signed an agreement with Ayala Land, Inc. for the development of the Vertis Tent.
Mr. Pineda also revealed that they are also set to launch another project with Ayala Malls soon, scheduled to open within the first half of 2018. — Patrizia Paola C. Marcelo
