T2 Trainspotting
AFTER 20 YEARS of estrangement, Mark Renton returns to Edinburgh, Scotland from Amsterdam and reunites with his old friends Sick Boy, Spud and Begbie. This sequel is again directed by Danny Boyle, and reunites the original cast of Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, and Jonny Lee Miller. Popular on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes where it got a score of 79%, the critics consensus is: “T2 Trainspotting adds an intoxicating, emotionally resonant postscript to its classic predecessor, even without fully recapturing the original’s fresh, subversive thrill.”

VERY ACTIVE on social media, popular college girl Laura accepts a friend request from an unknown girl named Marina, and soon her friends begin to die violently one by one. Directed by Simon Verhoeven, it stars Alycia Debnam-Carey, Connor Paolo, and William Moseley. “The kind of horror movie you probably watched at a sleepover as a teenager,” is how Time Out’s Kate Lloyd describes the film.
