Volkswagen reduces prices of Polo variants
THE Volkswagen Polo Hatchback and Sedan have lower prices until Sept. 30.
Volkswagen Philippines said the Polo Hatchback is now priced from P858,000 while the Polo Sedan starts at P800,000. The lower prices should allow “young, upwardly mobile professionals… to experience a world-class, premium, German-engineered vehicle,” the company said.
Both Polo variants are powered by a 1.6-liter, Euro4-compliant gasoline engine that through multipoint injection manages a power output of 103hp and 152Nm. A six-speed automatic transmission is combined with the engine.
Audi expands service facility in PHL
AUDI Philippines said it has completed the first phase of its expansion plan as it inaugurated of a new 5,000-sqm after-sales service facility at its dealership in Greenhills, Mandaluyong City. The expanded center has 14 service bays, Audi-certified equipment and diagnostic tools, and Germany-trained technicians.
“We are extremely proud about this development, which underscores our unwavering commitment to our family of satisfied Audi customers,” said Audi Philippines head Benedicto T. Coyiuto.
According to the company, the larger facility means shorter wait times for customers — but without compromising on the quality of service. It added its diagnostic tools and computers are always kept updated, and that technicians only work on these brand-specific instruments.
All mechanics undergo regular certification and training to keep them abreast of Audi innovations and technology, the company noted.
“Our roster of excellent technicians are inspired with the same fervor as their counterparts involved in Audi’s successful international motorsport program, renowned for excellence and attention to detail,” said Amado del Rosario, corporate affairs director at Audi Philippines.
Hyundai cuts parts, service fees in promo
HYUNDAI Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) is promoting its RAINDROPS (Discounts and Rewards on Parts and Service) program to Hyundai owners.
Those availing of a package for HGMO semi-synthetic oil get 10% off on labor and parts costs while a 20% discount on labor and 10% on parts are available to customers of the HGMO fully synthetic oil package. Other items are included for free in both packages.
HARI said members of the One Hyundai Family are entitled to an additional 10% discount. It added the promo runs until Sept. 2.
