A family with children and an elderly member is among those evacuated from the remote barangays of Buhay Buena Vida and Garsica in Makilala during rescue operations conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection following the 6.5 earthquake on Oct. 31. The evacuees are currently staying in makeshift shelters set up in an open area as aftershocks continue to be recorded.
