TO CELEBRATE 40 years of continued push for healthy and active living, Herbalife Nutrition recently launched its “Get Moving With Good Nutrition Challenge” in the country, which is highlighted by a virtual run.
The new campaign is aimed at breaking the health inertia, inspiring healthy active living, and fostering communities that support one another on their healthy living journey especially during this time of the coronavirus pandemic.
“After months of sedentary living under quarantine, it is high time for us to start moving once again to get our health back on the right track,” said Sridhar Rajagopalan, Senior Director/ Sub-Regional General Manager of Herbalife Nutrition Philippines in a statement as they launched the virtual challenge early this week.
At the center of the campaign is the Herbalife Nutrition 40th Anniversary Virtual Run which is happening from Nov. 1 to 30.
Through it the global health and nutrition company aims to rally people and communities to get moving once again and promote active lifestyle.
Participants can sign up for the run as an individual or as a team -— with 4km, 24km and 40km distances for the individual race category, 24km and 40km distances for the team race category — and volunteer to pledge an additional amount to Herbalife Nutrition Foundation, which will be channeled to the Casa Herbalife Nutrition program beneficiaries.
Registration for the virtual run will be until Nov. 13 through Herbalife40VirtualRun.com.
Participants can monitor their progress through any GPS running trackers or treadmills and upon completion can submit their results to the Herbalife virtual run website.
Runners who complete the run will receive a limited edition Herbalife Nutrition 40th Anniversary Virtual Run medal and an e-certificate each.
To help participants prepare for the run, Herbalife Nutrition has lined up a series of virtual run training content, including run training sessions led by Samantha Clayton, vice president of Sports Performance and Fitness Education at Herbalife Nutrition, and online “fit sessions” led by Herbalife Nutrition’s partner athletes, and sports nutrition talks by Dr. Dana Ryan, Herbalife Nutrition’s Director of Sport Performance and Education.
