JHETT TOLENTINO and Frontrow Entertainment present M. A Doll’s House Part 2

Sembreak workshops with G-Force

THE G-FORCE Project 2018 Sembreak Dance Workshop will be held at the G-Force Dance Center, Expansion Wing of Festival Mall, on Sept. 29, and 30 for Batch 1, and Oct. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21 for Batch 2. The workshops from all participating G-Force branches will culminate in a dance concert on Oct. 31 in The Theatre at Solaire. Enrollment fee is P8,500 for six sessions of one type of class (except the #WhiteShirtLove class), inclusive of performance at the culminating concert. Returning students who present their previous G-Force Project ID and students taking two or more types of classes will receive discounts. Mexican film Saturdays

THE FINAL film of Instituto Cervantes and the Embassy of Mexico’s film seris “La Literatura en el Cine Mexicano” — Mexican films based on classic literary works — is Pedro Páramo, directed by Carlos Velo and based on Juan Rulfo’s novel. It chronicles the journey of a young man in search of his father. The film will be shown on Sept. 29 at the new Intramuros branch of the Spanish cultural center, located at Casa Azul, Plaza San Luis Complex. In Spanish with English subtitles. Letters to Juliet

THE Venice Grand Canal mall has been celebrating Juliet Capulet, the better half of Romeo Montague in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, through a series of events this month. Dubbed as “Juliet Capulet: A Martyr’s Love,” has been celebrating the love story with spoken word poetry, serenades, and more, since Sept. 17 until Sept. 30. There is a dedicated space for “Letters to Juliet,” reminiscent of the letter wall in Verona, Italy. Mall guests can write to Juliet’s Secretary and share their love problems, or seek love advice. The most compelling letters will be selected by Juliet’s Secretary for the Spoken Word Poetry session on Sept. 29, 4-7 p.m., with a chance win a free dinner date for two. KOREAN boy band Seventeen will have a concert at the Mall of Asia on Saturday.
