THE COMPETITION gets tougher in the world’s most intense obstacle course in the reality show Team Ninja Warrior, as it returns for a second season this August on AXN.
The upcoming season again features some of the biggest names from the American Ninja Warrior franchise as they battle it out in the dual running course with even more challenging obstacles, incorporating speed, human agility, skill, and a whole new strategy of racing.
There are 28 teams, each with two male and one female competitors, racing side-by-side against each other to earn ninja bragging rights and to be crowned Team Ninja Warrior champions.
Comedian Matt Iseman and former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila return as hosts for Season 2, with sportscaster Alex Curry as the sideline reporter.
Team Ninja Warrior Season 2 premieres Aug. 7, and will air every Monday at 8:50 p.m.

Meanwhile, unlikely couples find their hands full in the new reality series Kicking & Screaming , which premieres in August.
Ten survival experts are paired with hapless amateurs who have no experience in living outdoors as they fight their way through a series of challenges in a remote jungle of a South Pacific island where they must overcome dangerous animals, raging rivers, hunger, and extreme weather.
While the experts are used to surviving in the wilderness, their partners are not, resulting in lots of arguing, bickering, and swearing.
With a cash prize of $500,000 at stake, the mismatched teammates must work together to survive the challenge.
The show, from Fear Factor executive producer Matt Kunitz, is hosted by New Girl actress Hannah Simone.
Kicking & Screaming premieres on Aug. 7 and will air every Monday at 9:45 p.m.
