Embarking on a journey of wellness may seem daunting, especially for busy, multi-tasking homemakers. Nestlé Philippines, through the Nestlé Club, has launched a campaign that enables homemakers “to take small, easy steps to start a life of wellness.”

The Nestlé Club calls the campaign Wellnessize. To achieve wellness, the company said in a press release, an individual must take action.

The Wellnessize campaign was launched via Nestlé Club’s GoodLiving Webisodes, with actor and TV host Luis Manzano as guide.

“Wellness is a big goal, but you can get there in small, easy steps. Dito sa Nestlé Club, that’s what we call Wellnessize,” says Mr. Manzano, as he introduces the fourth season of GoodLiving Webisodes.

“Research into the behavior of homemakers who are members of Nestlé Club reveals that most of them have the inclination to search for classic recipes that Filipinos love,” the press release stated.

Research also shows that more and more homemakers see the importance of health, but what they say is different from what they do, Nestlé said.

“Our homemakers are aware, but not equipped,” Aurora Alipao, head of Nestlé corporate communication and consumer engagement services, was quoted saying.

This year, the GoodLiving Webisodes present recipes of six favorites: menudo, adobo, carbonara, beef with broccoli, burger steak, and tiramisu — each accompanied by a “Wellnessized” version. Homemakers thus have a choice of cooking either the classic or the Wellnessized recipe.

According to Nestlé Consumer Relationship Marketing Executive Lia Lagarde, Mr. Manzano is the ideal host for the Webisodes because of his healthy and active lifestyle.

“Luis also has 4.78 million followers on Twitter and 1.3 million followers on Instagram to date, so he can definitely help Nestlé Club reach out to homemakers,” Ms. Lagarde was quoted saying.

Mr. Manzano is the co-host of the ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition Pilipinas Got Talent, host of game show Family Feud, and a mainstay of the network’s Sunday variety show ASAP. He is also the current endorser of Nestlé’s Bear Brand powdered milk drink.
