The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) vessel JS IKAZUCHI (DD-107), with two patrol helicopters and 220 crew onboard, arrived at the South Harbor port in Manila on Jan. 29 for a three-day goodwill visit. The Japanese force, led by Capt. Ryoko Azuma, Escort Division One commander, was welcomed by the Philippine Navy.
