Commander of the US Pacific Fleet Adm. John C. Aquilino visited the Philippines Aug. 7 to 9 to meet with military and political leaders, and to underscore US commitment to the Philippines and the Indo-Pacific region. Mr. Aquilino, who assumed command of the fleet on May 17, met with Philippine Defense Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana, Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter S.
