PRESIDENT Rodrigo R. Duterte will be in Iloilo today to lead the distribution of 3,772 certificates of land ownership award (CLOA) to agrarian reform beneficiaries in Western Visayas. “No less than the President of the Republic will grace our CLOA distribution in celebration of our 30th CARP anniversary,” said Department of Agrarian Reform-Western Visayas Assistant Regional Director Gideon A. Umadjay Jr. The land titles will be given to 2,314 farmers with a total area of 2,694 hectares. Mr. Duterte will also lead the turnover of completed farm-to-market road projects in five towns in Iloilo Province. The President’s second stop will be the national conference of the Philippine Councilors League at the Iloilo Convention Center, with around 3,000 councilors expected to attend.
