Holiday in parts of Mindanao on April 13 for Al Isra Wa Al Miraj

THE PHILIPPINE’S more than 10 million Muslim population is celebrating on Friday the Al Isra Wa Al Miraj, the ascension of Prophet Mohammad to heaven. April 13 has been declared a non-working holiday in the entire Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and some cities and provinces in other regions, including Iligan City and Lanao del Norte province.
