FRENCH striker Olivier Giroud confirmed Monday that he will depart AC Milan to join Major League Soccer (MLS) when his contract expires this summer.
There have been previous reports that the 37-year-old former World Cup champion plans to join countryman Hugo Lloris at LAFC.
“The next two games will be my last for Milan,” he said in an interview published on AC Milan’s official channels. “My career will continue in MLS. I’m very proud of everything I’ve done here at Milan across three seasons. It’s the right time to announce it. — Reuters
