AMAIA LAND Corp. is set to widen its footprint in Quezon City as it plans to launch a mid-rise condominium within the second quarter.

In a statement, the economic housing unit of Ayala Land, Inc. said the new project will rise on a 1.7-hectare property along Quirino Highway and Tandang Sora Avenue.

Amaia Land noted the condominium project will benefit from on-going public infrastructure projects such as the Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7) and the Metro Manila Subway.

The condominium will have nine floors with a total of 208 units. It will offer one-, two-, or three-bedroom units with floor areas ranging from 24 square meters (sq.m.) to 46 sq.m.

Amaia Land said a basic unit will have a pre-selling price of P2 million.

Amenities will include a swimming pool, a basketball court, and a function room.

“Amaia’s new midrise will be a cozy home and, at the same time, a community that fosters fine social values among its residents. The development — and all the others in the pipeline — are envisioned to thrive in a sustainably greener environment, giving homeowners a healthier way of life that only low-density settings provide,” the company said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Amaia Land said it is set to launch five residential projects and expand eight other existing projects. This includes two townhouse projects in ALI’s mixed-use developments Vermosa Estate in Cavite and Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, as well as a building in Capitol Central in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. It is also developing a house-and-lot community in Binangonan, Rizal.

Existing projects that will be expanded are those in Sucat and Bicutan in Parañaque; General Trias and Trece Martires in Cavite; Novaliches in Quezon City; Cabuyao in Laguna; Bulacan; and Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City. — Vincent Mariel P. Galang
