According to the Heritage Foundation, which produces the Index of Economic Freedom, in partnership with Wall Street Journal, the Philippines’ score in the index has improved over time, with its monetary freedom and management of public finance considered “notable successes”. However, the Foundation listed rule of law and labor freedom as the country’s concerns. Here’s how the Philippines stacks up against the rest of Southeast Asia.
