Philippines’ rank improves in 2024 WJP Rule of Law Index
(But still lags in East Asia and the Pacific region)
The Philippines inched up a notch to 99th place out of 142 countries and jurisdictions in the 2024 edition of the World Justice Project’s (WJP) Rule of Law Index. It was the country’s best ranking in two years. However, it still remained one of laggards in the region.
