More than half of towns and cities in hotspot list

THE PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) has identified a total of 941 election hotspots that comprise 57.60% of the 1,634 cities and municipalities nationwide. Of the total, 570 are categorized as election areas of grave concern (Red Category), 238 under immediate concern (Orange Category), and 131 are areas of concern (Yellow Category). There are no areas under the Red Category in the National Capital Region and Ilocos region.
