CENTURY Properties Group, Inc. (CPG) said it is about to complete its Century City project, which is the company’s first mixed-use development located in Makati City along Kalayaan Avenue.

In a statement on Wednesday, the company said CPG unit Century City Development Corp. (CCDC) is nearly done with the project. The eighth and last building, called Century Spire, is already being prepared for turnover to clients.

The building has 90,531 square meters (sq.m.) of residential and office spaces for sale.

Century Spire’s architecture was designed by global architectural firm Studio Libeskind. Meanwhile, its common interior areas were designed by international design house Armani/Casa.

Once completed, the eight buildings in Century City will have over 5,000 units and add more than 640,000 sq.m. of gross leasable area (GLA) to the company’s portfolio.

Century Properties has been expanding its commercial leasing along with its “expansion into high-margin businesses” and affordable housing line.

Century City’s PEZA-accredited Century Diamond Tower has just signed its “first key tenant” for the year, which is an international business process outsourcing firm. This is on top of current tenants that inked a leasing agreement before 2022.

“The office market has proven to be resilient despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, but with restrictions gradually being lifted in the city, we see leasing becoming more upbeat this year,” CPG President and Chief Executive Officer Jose Marco R. Antonio said.
