Lent at BGC
Now on its 11th year, Church Simplified and Bonifacio High Street bring back “Walkway: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross,” an interactive exhibit along the stretch of Bonifacio High Street depicting how Christ lived. This will be capped off by a concert on Easter Sunday with artists Unique Salonga, Urbandub, South Border, Aia de Leon, and Barbie. Admission is free. Young children will enjoy Bonifacio High Street’s Tiki Easter Adventure which will feature games and treats for an Easter Sunday bonding.
Holy Week at Robinsons Malls
In observance of Holy Week 2019, all Robinsons Malls will be closed on Maundy Thursday (April 18) and Good Friday (April 19) except for the following malls: Robinsons Place Antipolo, Robinsons Luisita, Robinsons Tagaytay, Robinsons Ilocos, Robinsons Place Dasmariñas, Robinsons Place GenTrias, Robinsons Place Malolos, Robinsons Place Naga, Robinsons Place Palawan, Robinsons Place Pangasinan, Robinsons Place Santiago, Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, Robinsons Place Tuguegarao, Robinsons Place Iligan, Robinsons Place Valencia, and Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
Easter at Megaworld malls
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls — Eastwood City, Uptown Bonifacio, Lucky Chinatown, Forbes Town, Venice Grand Canal, Southwoods Mall and Festive Walk Iloilo — celebrates Easter Sunday with traditional egg hunts and costume contests, to interactive activities. Children can come in superhero costumes to Eastwood City’s Easter Wonderland and complete the mission to collect all Infinity eggs inside the five Easter worlds. There will be larger-than-life toys and board games at Forbes Town’s Zoomed In Easter Celebration on April 21 at 3 p.m., with art pieces, face painting, musical adventures, magic tricks, bubble shows, and egg hunting. Ongoing until April 30 at the Venice Grand Canal is the Easter Toyland Egg-venture. There will be an Easter “eggventure,” arts and crafts activities, and a mall-wide Easter egg hunt and costume contest. On Easter Sunday, there will be the Easter Eggspectacular, a grand parade featuring mascots and kids in Easter costumes. Detective Pikachu hosts the Easter celebration at Lucky Chinatown on April 21, 1 p.m. Kids can go on a mystery hunt at Chinatown Walk and help the Easter Bunny solve Mystery Manila’s Lucky Egg Challenge. Tickets are available for P250 at the Atrium. Participating kids can also meet Detective Pikachu. More solving activities await such as Crack the Code, Word Scramble, Who’s That Pokemon, and Find the Pokemon from April 15-25. At Southwoods Mall there will be an Easter Wonderland with an egg hunt at participating establishments, and a musical show Into The Juanderland. Easter Dreamland awaits kids and their pets at the Festive Walk Mall in Iloilo. There will be an egg hunt, a bunny petting zoo, a magic show, and a fashion show featuring dogs in costumes. To join and receive tips on where to find the Golden Egg, guests can present a minimum single receipt purchase worth P1,000 from any establishment. Twin Lakes transforms into an Enchanted Wonderland on April 21, 4 p.m., with activities like an egg hunt and Easter Bunny meet & greet. To participate, present a single or accumulated receipt worth P1,000 from any Twin Lakes establishment. Purchase must be made on April 20-21. The Village Square Alabang will have a Hoppy Easter Village on April 21 starting at 10 a.m. Guests can come in animal-themed costumes for a chance to win prizes. Activities include a Hoppy Eggsplortion where kids can collect as many eggs as they can at selected stores. At the mall Atrium there will be face and egg painting and a magic show. Admission is free.
