THE BUSY STREET of Paseo de Roxas will be closed to motorists on Sunday to give way to the Makati Block Party.

The Makati Block Party will showcase more than 30 food stalls, some from the famed Salcedo Community Market, including Down to Earth, Merry Moo, Connie’s Kitchen, and Bun Appetit, among others.

Visitors will be serenaded by Vince Lahorra’s Quartet as well as Johnoy Danao throughout the evening. There will also be art and leisure activities for children, and free yoga sessions for fitness connoisseurs.

“The Makati Block Party gives residents and visitors something fun and relaxing to do, right in their own community, on a weekend,” Makati Project Development Manager Shiella Aguilar said in a press statement.

Admission to the Makati Block Party is free. It will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 3.
