THE NUMBER-coding scheme, or Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP), is lifted for provincial buses only, on Dec. 22, Friday, and Dec. 26, Tuesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced yesterday. MMDA said the temporary suspension of the coding scheme is intended to supply additional buses for passengers traveling for the holidays.
