“”We already have a lot of leaves available,” Labor Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma told BusinessWorld in Filipino. “Heat leaves can fall under the current existing types of leaves.”
Mr. Bienvenido added that the revised implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 11058, or the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards Law, can help further ensure the safety of workers during hot weather conditions.
