Suzuki unveils new Carry and Dzire variants
SUZUKI PHILIPPINES, INC. (SPH), recently announced the availability of additional variants of its Dzire and Carry models. However, the Dzire GA Taxi, Carry Ambulance, and Carry Lineman — made available in 18 dealerships across Metro Manila — will only be for sale until June 6.
The 18 dealerships will feature these variants in their showrooms for a week each “in order for interested patrons to get a personal and up close look at two of the more sought-after vehicles for hospitals and various businesses nationwide,” said SPH in a release.
The Carry Ambulance boasts an ability to accommodate and cater to numerous medical needs and related requirements. It comes in two trim levels — one without air-conditioning (plus P398,000) and one with (plus P478,000). These figures will be added to the base unit price of P554,000.
The Carry Lineman, on the other hand, is considered a valuable business operations tool in the field “due to its versatility, functionality, and cost-saving fuel efficiency.” The variant is priced at P749,000 (P554,000 unit price plus P195,000 accessory price). Accessories that come with the Carry Lineman include a cab connector, ladder rack, tool box, mesh wire, and other necessities of the trade. The Carry Ambulance and Lineman were made possible through the collaboration of Suzuki Philippines, Inc. and Centro Manufacturing Corp.
Lastly, the Dzire GA Taxi, already deployed in roads nationwide, comes with P31,000 worth of accessories including a CANBUS interface with wiring harness, taxi meter, LED “For Hire” sign, and top light. The Dzire GA Taxi is priced at P559,000.
“Suzuki is pleased to spearhead this initiative to have these utility vehicles visible and accessible to a wider audience and market, specifically for the more congested cities across the metropolitan area,” said SPH Vice-President and General Manager for Automobile Keiichi Suzuki. “It is our hope to provide the highest quality and quantity of assistance needed for hospitals and businesses nationwide.”
