PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.’s adviser for creative communications went on leave before his second state of the nation address to Congress, the presidential palace said on Wednesday.

Paul David Soriano, a godson of the president, was set to direct the SONA on Monday but the task was given to the state-owned Radio Television Malacañang.

The adviser had gone on leave for personal reasons, Presidential Communications Office chief Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil said in the statement.

Mr. Soriano directed Mr. Marcos’ first SONA and his political ads during the 2022 presidential campaign.
