FOUR earthquakes were recorded on Tuesday off Sarangani, Davao Occidental, with the strongest at magnitude 4.5 that occurred 1:26 p.m. Its center was located 56 kilometers southeast of the town. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology’s monitoring said no damage were reported but aftershocks were still expected. Earlier in the day, three other tremors were recorded between 1:24 a.m. and 5:48 a.m., with magnitude of 3.4 to 3.7. There were no reported intensities in nearby areas.
