PANTAR MAYOR Jabar D. Tago was among seven people arrested on May 13 for illegal possession of firearms and violation of the election gun ban. In a raid conducted by a joint team of the military’s 2nd Mechanized Brigade and Pantar police in Mr. Tago’s compound, nine high-powered firearms, five pistols, one shotgun, and assorted ammunition were seized, according to Joint Task Force Ranao Spokesperson Colonel Romeo Brawner, Jr. Aside from Mr. Tago, the others arrested were Jamaloding D.
