As a security staffer of a cruise vessel, he has encountered poseurs masquerading as guests, would-be stowaways trying to board, and people without papers hoping to clear immigration.
But all that is behind him.
After all, Richard is now a Grab partner-driver, grateful that he has been able to finally come home and earn a living, thanks to the ride-sharing industry.
Besides picking up and dropping off passengers, the former overseas Filipino worker has also been elected president of a Grab drivers group in Quezon City.
