THE estate of the late pop artist Prince signed a global licensing deal that gives Universal Music Group’s Bravado unit exclusive control over his image for merchandise and branding.
Benefit gala for Hepatitis B awareness
THE Hepatology Society of the Philippines (HSP), the only recognized professional liver society in the country, will be holding The B Aware Benefit Gala on Jan. 19 at The Atrium and Courtyard of Enderun Colleges. A fundraising and awareness initiative, the event will kick-off the B Aware Campaign of the HSP to raise awareness for Hepatitis B.

Agnes Arellano’s Born of the Moon is a mini retrospective and a “combine-inscape” featuring all her works that celebrate the Moon, from the 1983 Temple to the Moon Goddess to the more recent erotic sketches. Exhibit opens on Jan. 12 at the Altro Mondo in Greenbelt 5, Makati City.
Feelings by Con Cabrera is on view at the Drawing Room Contemporary Art in Karrivin Plaza, Makati City, until Jan. 31.

100 bands, five stages, one event — the Rakrakan Festival: OPM Against Drugs will be held at the Mall of Asia Open Grounds, Pasay City, on Jan. 14.
