Sing Street
This film about a young man in 1980s Ireland forms a band to try and impress a girl has proved to be very popular with the critics on RottenTomatoes.com, which gave the film a score of 97%. Its Critics Consensus goes: “Sing Street is a feel-good musical with huge heart and irresistible optimism, and its charming cast and hummable tunes help to elevate its familiar plotting.” Writen and directed by John Carney, it stars Aidan Gillen, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Maria Doyle Kennedy.

A Star Cinema romance drama about a young man (Daniel Padilla) still trying to get over a past love, who meets a young woman (Kathryn Bernardo) in Barcelona trying to run away from her pain. Directed by Olivia M. Lamasan.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
Hard-partying brothers decide to turn to Craigslist to look for dates for their sister’s wedding in Hawaii. The post goes viral, and attracts the attention of the wrong kind of women. Directed by Jake Szymanski, the film stars Adam DeVine, Anna Kendrick, and Zac Efron.“It’s like riding a roller coaster fueled by Red Bull and grain alcohol: kind of gross but pretty fun, too,” writes Leah Greenblatt, of Entertainment Weekly. But Richard Brody of the New Yorker is not so positive: “A fine cast goes to waste in this risk-free and cliché-riddled comedy, loosely based on a true story.”
