Rudy Fernandez and Heneral Luna at Cinema ’76
A RETROSPECTIVE of the films of Rudy Fernandez will be shown at the Cinema ’76 Film Society micro-theater, from April 8 to 15.
Cinema ’76, located at 160 Luna Mencias St., Barangay Addition Hills, San Juan City, is a micro-cinema dedicated to showing the latest Filipino independent films as well as non-commercial english and Foreign language movies.
The Fernandez retrospective kicks off with a documentary, The Last Pinoy Action King. Also to be screened are Fernandez starrers Bitayin si Baby Ama, Tatak ng Yakuza, Sandakot na Bala, Baun Gang, and Bingbong Crisologo.
Meanwhile, to mark Araw ng Kagitingan, Cinema ’76 will screen Heneral Luna for free on April 9. Moviegoers can meet the producers and cast of the film who will be present at the screening, where the last remaining copies of the film’s best selling DVD will be on sale.
