THE TOLL Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the toll increase at the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) sought by NLEX Corp.
In an advisory, the board said the new toll rates will cover the 2020 and 2022 petitions for the periodic toll rate adjustments filed by the company.
NLEX Corp. was allowed to enforce the first tranche of the approved provisional toll rate adjustments on July 1 to ease the impact on the public, it said.
The toll for class 1 vehicles or cars and jeepneys will be P4.62 per kilometer, P9.32 per kilometer for class 2 vehicles or trucks and buses, and P13.85 per kilometer for class 3 vehicles or trucks with three or more axles. — Justine Irish D. Tabile
