THREE PROJECTS in different parts of the country have been given funding under the Japanese government’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects, the Japanese Embassy announced yesterday. The grant contracts were signed on Feb. 27 in Manila by Japanese Ambassador Koji Haneda with representatives of the recipient local government units among those in attendance. The projects are:

• Nine classrooms at the Leuteboro National High School in Socorro, Oriental Mindoro worth P9.1 million;

• P2.1 million worth of medical fixtures at the Bontoc General Hospital in   Mountain Province; and

• P4.1-million potable water system at Barangay Banawel in Natonin, Mt. Province.
