Generation Z (aka The Rezort)

Generation Z (aka The Rezort)

TEN YEARS after the zombie apocalypse, the human race has recovered to the extent that one of the popular vacation is to go to a resort that has been set up specializing in hunting zombies. Directed by Steve Barker, the film stars Jessica De Gouw, Dougray Scott, and Martin McCann. Septimo Escenario’s Jose Antonio Alarcon writes (in Spanish): “The film is not worth it, not even for a typical Sunday afternoon with friends…. The movie was filmed in the island of Mallorca and that is what saves the film just a little, enjoying seeing the island’s vegetation.”

CARTER (Thomas Jane), a troubled veteran gets a chance at redemption by protecting a 12-year-old girl from a deadly assassin (Laurence Fishburne) after she witnesses a murder. Written and directed by Adam Alleca. Rex Reed of the New York Observer writes: “It keeps you tensed and anxious and never sure of how anything will turn out. You get your money’s worth.” Not so enthused is Michael Rechtshaffen of the Los Angeles Time — “This overly talky, slackly executed game of cat-and-mouse comes off as cheesy rather than chilling.”
