THE DEPARTMENT of Public Works and Highways-Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) office has appealed to motorists visiting Baguio City, especially during the long weekend starting Nov. 1 for the All Saints’ and Souls’ Days, to refrain from taking Kennon Road, which remains closed due to landslide damages and threats. “All roads leading to Baguio City except Kennon Road are open to traffic. For safety, everyone is advised not to enter Kennon Road via Dungon and Sison, Pangasinan,” DPWH-CAR said in a statement. The regional agency will have 24/7 motorist assistance stations in various locations and advisories will be posted on the DPWH social media platforms.
